ChatGPT works through Wahlu's tools, so it can set the Facebook options Wahlu supports.

Post type
Page post, Reel or Story.

Wahlu posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles or groups, and a Page post carries one image or video rather than an album.

Facebook limits to know

Wahlu checks these before a post is scheduled, so the agent finds out early.

Getting images and video to Facebook

The hosted connection can't open files on your computer. Give the agent a public link to import, pick from your brand's media library, or attach an image the agent can pass on as data. For video, a public link or your media library is usually easiest.

Connect ChatGPT to Wahlu

Set this up once and ChatGPT can work on every network you've connected, not just Facebook.

    On chatgpt.com, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.

    Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and select the + button.

    Name it Wahlu, paste https://mcp.wahlu.com/mcp as the MCP server URL and choose OAuth if asked how to authenticate.

    Create the connection and sign in to Wahlu when asked.

    Start a new conversation and add Wahlu from the tools menu.

Checked against the OpenAI developer docs on 24 September 2026. Menus can change; if a step doesn't match what you see, follow the vendor's current instructions.

Set this up on the ChatGPT website; the desktop apps don't have developer mode. Whether developer mode is available depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings, and a workspace admin may need to allow it.

You stay in control.

Every Wahlu plan includes agent access, through MCP and the API. You choose the workspace, brands and permissions each connection gets, and can disconnect it at any time.

Held until you approve

Agents create schedules at pending_review unless you've told them to publish. A held schedule can't publish until you approve it in the Wahlu calendar.

Publishing is its own permission

Publish to social accounts is separate from Manage your schedule. Leave it unticked and nothing your agent schedules can go out on its own.

Checked before it's scheduled

preflight_draft reports anything that would stop a post, such as media the network won't accept or a caption that's too long, without changing anything.

Some things stay in the app

Queues, general edits to existing drafts, approvals and connecting social accounts happen in the Wahlu app, not through your agent.
