Text Formatting

Free LinkedIn Text Formatter

Format a LinkedIn draft with bold, italic and bullets. Style selected words, undo changes and copy your text. Free, with no signup.

Give your post a clear shape

Select words to style, or leave nothing selected to change the whole post.

Bold and italic use special Unicode letters. They can be hard for screen readers to read. Keep links, @mentions, hashtags and key details in plain text. Accents and emoji stay as typed.

No account needed. Text is processed in this tab. Limit: 10,000 characters. Some symbols count as two.

Help the reader find the point

A short heading can separate your main point from the detail. Use bullets for a few steps or lessons. Keep most of your post in plain text so it stays easy to read.

For example, select the first line of a draft headed ‘Three lessons from our launch’. Make that line bold, then select the three lessons and add bullets.

These are letters, not rich text

This tool swaps English letters and some digits for Unicode symbols that look bold or italic. It does not add LinkedIn's own text styling. Accented letters, other scripts and emoji stay as typed.

Screen readers may skip these symbols or read them in a confusing way. Search, links, hashtags and mentions may also work differently. Use Plain text for key details and for the most readable result.

Questions about this tool

There is no reach guarantee. The tool changes how some letters look. A useful post and clear wording matter more than decorative text.

It restores the bold and italic letters this tool creates. It keeps bullets, line breaks and other characters. Undo reverses the last edit.

No. Formatting happens in this browser tab. The tool does not send your draft to an AI service or save it for later.
