Invite someone

If invites are turned on for your workspace:

1. Click your workspace name, then Workspace settings.
2. Open Members and click Invite member.
3. Type their Email address.
4. Pick Editor or Viewer.
5. Click Send invitation.

They get an email. If they already use Wahlu, the invite also shows in their notifications. The invite ends after 7 days.

Join a workspace

You can join in the app or from the email. You don't need the email link.

In the app:

1. Sign in with the same email the invite was sent to.
2. Click the bell at the top. The invite is at the top of your notifications.
3. Click Accept. Wahlu opens the workspace.

This works when you sign in with Google. With another sign-in, use the link in the email.

The invite also shows when you click your workspace name. If you're new to Wahlu, you see it as soon as you sign in.

From the email:

1. Open the invite email and click the link.
2. Click Sign in to continue. Use the same email the invite was sent to.
3. Click Join workspace.

To say no, click Decline.

Change or remove someone

In Members, click … next to the person. Click Make editor, Make viewer or Remove. To cancel an invite that hasn't been used, click Revoke.

Transfer ownership

Only the current owner can transfer the workspace to a member who has joined. This works for Free and complimentary workspaces without linked billing.

If billing is linked, contact support first. We need to separate it before ownership can move.

1. Open Members in Workspace settings.
2. Click … next to the new owner.
3. Click Transfer ownership.
4. Check the name and click Transfer ownership to confirm.

They get control of billing, accounts and settings. You become an Editor. The workspace keeps its plan and credits.

Leave a workspace

If you're not the owner, open Members and click Leave workspace.
