Set up Autopilot
Autopilot learns your brand, picks a theme for each week and writes the posts. You choose what you check first.
Updated
Autopilot plans your posts for you. Each week it picks a theme, comes up with ideas and writes the posts. You check what you want to check.
Turn on Autopilot
- Open your brand and click Autopilot in the brand menu.
- Under Tell Autopilot about your brand, click Continue brand setup. Type your website so Wahlu can learn about you. Skip this if it says Done.
- Under Choose what you check, click Change and pick what you want to see first.
- Click Turn on Autopilot.
If your brand is set to Manual, Wahlu asks you to switch to automatic. Click Switch and continue.
Choose what you check
Click Settings at the top of the Autopilot page. For each step, pick I'll check or Automatic:
- Weekly theme: the big idea for the week.
- Post ideas: the topic of each post.
- Finished posts: the posts, ready to go.
Then set How many posts a week? The default is 3. The most is 15.
Under Which days can Autopilot post?, tap the days you want. Autopilot spreads your posts over those days. You must keep at least one day. The change starts with the next week Autopilot plans. Weeks it has already planned keep their days.
For more choices, click More content settings. There you pick templates, images and posting the same post to more than one account.
Help your drafts sound like you
Autopilot uses your saved brand details when it writes and repairs drafts. Keep your brand voice, services and website details up to date.
Check each draft for facts, offers and tone before you approve it. AI can still get details wrong.
What it costs
Each post Autopilot writes uses 200 credits. Your first week is free.
- Every paid plan includes credits each month. Max includes 15,000. See Plans, credits and limits for the rest.
- Free doesn't include Autopilot. Start a plan or the $1 trial to use it.
- Need more? You can buy a credit pack.
- The $1 trial includes one Autopilot week. It uses no credits. To make more weeks, start your plan.
If your plan has no credits and you have too few for a week, Wahlu tells you when you click Turn on Autopilot. You can click Add credits, Get Max, or Turn on anyway.
See Plans, credits and limits.
Autopilot on Free and the trial
Autopilot needs a plan.
- On Free, the Autopilot page says Start a plan to use Autopilot.
- Click Start for $1 if you can take the trial, or Start plan if you've already had it. Then choose a plan.
- The $1 trial includes one Autopilot week. It's the first week Autopilot writes posts for, on one brand.
- When that week is used, Autopilot says Your trial includes one Autopilot week. Start your plan to make more.
You can redo the trial's same week. A new week or brand needs a plan. Deleting the trial week doesn't give you another one.
To start your plan before the trial ends:
- On the Autopilot page, click Start your plan.
- On the billing page, click Start plan now.
- Autopilot carries on with your next week.
If Autopilot can't write your trial week, you get the week back. Try again.
Next, learn how to check and approve a week.
