Delete your account

You can delete your Wahlu account yourself. It happens straight away and can't be undone.

What you lose

• Your Link in bio page. Your wahlu.me handle is freed for someone else.
• Your connected social accounts. Wahlu can't post to them any more.
• Your scheduled posts. They won't go out.
• Your drafts, posts and media.
• Your brands and the workspaces you own.
• Your plan. It ends when your account is deleted.

Posts you already published stay on the social platforms.

If other people use your workspace

When you own a workspace, deleting your account deletes it for everyone. To keep it for your team, transfer it to a member first. See Transfer ownership.

Workspaces that someone else owns stay. You are just removed from them.

Delete your account

1. Click your picture at the bottom left.
2. Click Account, then General.
3. Under Delete account, click Delete account.
4. If Wahlu asks, click Sign in again. This checks it's really you.
5. Read What you'll lose.
6. Under Before you go, pick why you're leaving. The two questions below it are optional.
7. Click Delete account.
8. Type delete, then click Delete account again.

What happens next

Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm. You are signed out on every device and can't sign back in to it.

We then cancel your plan, disconnect your social accounts and remove your data. This starts at once and takes a few minutes.

If you sign in again while this is running, Wahlu asks you to try again in a few minutes. After that, signing in the same way starts a new, empty account.

What we keep

We keep your answers to Before you go. We also keep a few counts with no name on them, like your plan and how many posts you made. None of it can be tied back to you.
