My photo posted sideways

Phone photos could post on their side. This is fixed for new uploads. Here is how to fix older ones.

Phones save a note inside each photo that says which way is up. Before 27 September 2026, Wahlu didn't always read that note. So some photos posted on their side.

This is now fixed. Wahlu turns each new photo the right way up before it posts.

Fix a photo you uploaded before

Photos you uploaded before the fix may still be sideways.

  1. Delete the old photo from your post.
  2. Upload the photo again from your phone or computer.
  3. Check the preview, then schedule the post.

Still sideways?

  1. Open the photo on your phone and turn it the right way.
  2. Save it as a new copy.
  3. Upload the new copy to Wahlu.
