How these sizes are checked

Each size comes from the platform’s own help centre, ads guide or developer documentation, and links to that page. All sources were checked on 24 September 2026.

Where a platform publishes a ratio, maximum width or display size instead of exact pixels, the size is marked “Calculated from” and the note explains how. Rows marked Video are listed for reference; the resizer creates images.

Platforms change their specifications without notice. If a size matters for a campaign, open the source before you post.

Questions about image sizes

No. Feeds favour portrait: 1080 × 1350 px (4:5) suits Instagram and matches the shape of Facebook's recommended 1440 × 1800 px feed image and LinkedIn's 720 × 900 px portrait. Stories, Reels and TikTok use a 9:16 frame. YouTube thumbnails, banners and link previews are landscape, so make a separate version for each.

No. The resizer opens, crops and exports your image inside your browser. Downloads are created on your device, and the image isn't sent to Wahlu or stored.

Some platforms publish a ratio, a maximum width or a display size rather than exact pixels. In those cases the guide shows the size calculated from the platform's rule and explains it in the note. Every size links to its source.

Every size was checked against its linked source on 24 September 2026. Platforms change their specifications without notice, so check the source when a size matters for a campaign.
