Chat with the Assistant

Ask the Assistant what's going out, schedule or move a post, or set up new posts. Nothing is posted until you confirm.

Updated

The Assistant is a chat for your brand. Type what you want in plain words. It finds the right posts and shows you what it will do.

Nothing is posted or changed until you confirm it.

Open the Assistant

  1. Open your brand.
  2. Click Assistant in the brand menu.
  3. Pick a suggestion, or type in the message box and click Send.

Review open work

  1. Pick Review open work, or ask What needs my attention?
  2. Check your unfinished drafts, posts waiting for approval and Autopilot week status.
  3. Click Review drafts to open drafts, or Review held posts to approve posts in Calendar.

If you have no Autopilot plan, click Plan the upcoming week to start one. Nothing is generated or scheduled by this review.

See what's going out

Type a request like What's going out this week?

You can ask about today, tomorrow, this week, next week, this weekend or a day like Friday.

Times show in your brand's time zone. Hover over a time to see it in your own time zone too.

Schedule a draft

  1. Type a request like Schedule this for tomorrow at 9am.
  2. The Assistant shows your drafts. Tick the post you want.
  3. Click Prepare fresh review.
  4. Check the accounts, date and time. The time you asked for is already filled in.
  5. Click Review exact schedule.
  6. Click Schedule 1 Post to confirm. The number matches how many posts you picked.

Times use your brand's time zone. You can change the time zone before you confirm.

Move a scheduled post

  1. Type a request like Move Friday's post to Saturday at 10am.
  2. The Assistant finds the post. If there are a few, pick one.
  3. Check the new date and time.
  4. Click Move post to confirm.

You can't move a post that is already being published.

Set up new posts

Type a request like Make 3 posts about our new breakfast menu.

The Assistant sets up 3 posts about that topic. You then choose the dates, platforms and media. Saving adds them to Autopilot. It doesn't write or schedule them yet.

When you need a plan or more credits

Some requests need a plan, like setting up posts with Autopilot or posting more than 3 times a month on Free.

When that happens, the Assistant shows the plan that fits what you asked for, with its price. If you only need a few more credits, it shows a small credit pack too.

  1. Click the plan button, or Add credits.
  2. Pay in the secure Stripe window.
  3. You come back to the chat. The Assistant carries on with your request.

If it doesn't carry on by itself, click Carry on. Only the workspace owner can buy a plan or credits. Other people see a note to ask the owner.

When the Assistant isn't sure

If the Assistant can't tell what you want, it asks you a short question. It never guesses.

If you ask for something it can't do, it says so. It tells you what Wahlu can do instead and what to try next. Nothing changes.

Questions

Can the Assistant post without asking me?
No. It shows you the exact post, accounts and time first. It only schedules or moves a post when you click the button to confirm.
Does the Assistant use credits?
No, not to understand you. Chatting with the Assistant is free. Credits are only used for AI work like writing posts and running Autopilot.
